License Un-Binds from Graid Card After a Hard Power Event in Windows

License Un-Binds from Graid Card After a Hard Power Event in Windows

Environment

RAID Model: SR-1000, SR-1001, SR-1010

Host Hardware: AMD, Intel

Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows

Issue

After successful application of the SupremeRAID license key, then a system power down event, the license can lose its bonding with the Graid card.  This issue does not occur with standard reboots/restarts of the system.

Resolution

Ensure the host BIOS bifurcation setting is not enabled for the slot where the Graid card is physically installed.

Graid requires that the card be plugged into a full PCIe 3.0, 4.0 or 5.0 x16 slot for reliable and optimal performance.
